Mandatory Skills:
- 3–5 years overall experience, strong hands-on in Python
- At least one project experience in RAG OR MCP-based AI augmented development (design + implementation)
- RAG fundamentals: embeddings, chunking, retrieval strategies, grounding/citations (if RAG project)
- OR MCP fundamentals: client/server concepts, tool integration patterns, workflow orchestration (if MCP project)
- Prompt engineering (Mandatory): ability to craft and standardize prompts for reliable outputs
- Experience using common GenAI/ML ecosystem tools (any of: Hugging Face, PyTorch/TensorFlow, LangChain/LlamaIndex, etc.)
- Practical engineering mindset: debugging, logging, error handling, performance tuning
Good to Have
- Fine-tuning awareness (LoRA/QLoRA/SFT) — not mandatory
- Reranking, hybrid retrieval (keyword + vector), evaluation frameworks for RAG
- Basic MLOps exposure: experiment tracking, model packaging, CI/CD, deployment basics
- Experience working in enterprise security/privacy constraints and auditability requirements
