Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–7 years of BFSI software testing with at least 3 years of hands-on test data preparation or data engineering experience.
- Deep functional knowledge of core banking modules in Finacle or T24: CASA, Loans, FX, Payments, Trade Finance, General Ledger.
- Strong SQL skills — ability to write complex queries, data validation scripts, and referential integrity checks across large relational schemas.
- Proficiency in Python for data profiling, ETL scripting, data generation, and statistical validation (pandas, numpy, scipy).
- Hands-on experience with Finacle or T24 database schemas, parameterization tables, and data loading utilities.
- Experience with data masking techniques: tokenization, format-preserving encryption, pseudonymisation.
- Ability to read and extract data requirements from BPMN process flow diagrams, test case documents, and functional specifications.
- Experience designing and validating golden / labeled datasets for ML or analytics projects is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations: GDPR, RBI data localization, PCI-DSS.
Good to Have
- Experience with synthetic data generation tools or frameworks (SDV, CTGAN, Faker).
- ISTQB Advanced — Test Analyst or Technical Test Analyst certification.
- Exposure to ML training data pipelines and feature engineering concepts.
- Knowledge of banking regulatory reporting requirements: CRILC, FATCA / CRS, AML transaction monitoring.
